SP 1a: Coordination

• Coordination of tasks and activities within the project network
• Representation of the project to the project management
• Contact(mediation) to Vietnamese project partners
• Organisation and planning of regular workshops
• Public relations work (Germany, Vietnam i.a.)
• Contacting and cooperation with other water projects
• Support of subprojects in data collection
• Organisation of interim and final presentations
• Consolidation of interim and final reports
• Organisation of workshops for knowledge transfer (Capacity Development)

SP 1b: Water Pumping

• Applicability evaluation of photovoltaic based pumping systems (PVPS) (Supply Concept 3) in the model region
• Location study for the implementation of PVPS (Supply Concept 3) in the model region
• Concept and product development of PVPS for implementation (Supply Concept 3)
• Pre-Design for the implementation of PVPS for one or more pilot sites
• Detailed planning of periphery components, control technology and operating strategy
• Accompaniment of construction works and installation of equipment
• Technical commissioning and validation of PVPS
• Continuation of the operational analysis of the water supply system Seo Ho (Supply Concept 1)
• Training of users of pilot technologies

SP 1c: Water Distribution

• Continuation of the operational analysis of the urban water distribution system fed by the water supply system Seo Ho
• Development of a water availability-oriented rural distribution concept
• Development of a robust control valve for hydraulic self-control of the distribution system
• Creating a prototype of the control valve and evaluation under laboratory conditions
• Pre-Design of a pilot implementation of the adapted water distribution concept
• Accompaniment of implementation works
• Monitoring and evaluation of a pilot zone of the distribution system
• Derivation of assessment and planning basis
• Training of users of pilot technologies
